No need of a agent , you can ask your landlord to provide a copy of the registered agreement to someone and the same person can visit the BBMP office behind namdhari fresh near kundanhalli gate. Just give the xerox copy to the person over there and he will fill the property tax application (charging Rs.100 for per year to calculate the property tax including penalty) . Submit the application form along with the property tax amount ( cheque in favour of "BBMP Commissioner" and property address behind the cheque). I did the same for my landlord and it took nearly an hour to get the process completed. This has to be done only once after that the landlord can pay property tax online using this link.

Hello everyone,
I am planning to pay my taxes next week. I went through all the previous email discussions. It looks like to get the tax amount
we need to use the following data:

Category = Rcc/Madras terrace building
Zone = E
Year of Construction = 2008

when using the calculator at the following site.

I was able to find the square feet for the built up area..However i was not able to find the (covered)car park area in the sale/construction agreement. I am sure it will be the same for everyone. For folks how have already paid the tax what is the area that you used for the car park?
